Good start to the year January 20, 2012

I’m so proud to be asked to be featured in Balloonies.  This balloon industry magazine goes out to thousands of balloon professionals.  There are hundreds of amazing balloon artists around the country and to be recognised by the industry is an honour.  You could say I’m well chuffed 🙂

What a great year that was! January 20, 2012

Happy New Year everyone.  Here’s to a happy and successful year for everybody.  2011 was the best year so far for The Balloon Room.  Highlights were definitely being asked to be a part of London Fashion week then being featured in The Guardian, The Independent and in my local newspaper, The Advertiser!  2012 is a special year for me.  I celebrate 10 years of The Balloon Room.  I hope this year is as successful as last year.

I had the managers from 5 B & Q stores in the Hertfordshire area wanting ideas to help promote their Kitchen and Bathroom sale. Each one wanted to out-do the other! They were all really happy with what I came up with.

The Balloon Room was proud to provide everything to make this wedding look beautiful, balloons, flowers, fairy light wall, chair covers with bows and table sashes.  All beautifully co-ordinated.  A one-stop wedding shop!!

50th birthday party in St. John’s Wood November 10, 2011

The birthday girl needed help to put a bit of ‘party’ into the room, but wanted to reflect her taste. She was so happy with the little added extra touches – the table runner, chocolates and flowers. Looked great altogether

ASDA love a balloon or two :) November 2, 2011

In the last two weeks, I have provided balloon displays for ASDA in Cambridge, Biggleswade and Stevenage. It’s been a busy time to say the least!

21st, 50th & 80th birthday & 25th anniversary party! October 24, 2011

There were quite a few celebrations all on one night for this family. Each family member had a couple of personalised balloons on the centrepieces. The community centre is just down the road from me, I like it when it’s nice and local 🙂

Civil Ceremony at Whipsnade Zoo October 24, 2011

I’ve delivered balloons to the function rooms at Whipsnade Zoo before, but have never done a wedding. The place is very deceiving from the outside, it’s huge and really nice inside.
When Simon and Stuart first came to see me, I knew they would be open minded with my suggestions. They asked me for a way to get the table names on the table which reflected their theme,which was sweeties! I love themes and was able to do this without going over the top. I really enjoyed working with these two lovely fellas. Always really complimentary. And apparently the staff at Whipsnade Zoo were impressed too 🙂
